Why Tesla’s Solar Roof is an even bigger deal than it seems

Tesla Motors’ solar roof could help save lives, the company announced Tuesday.

The company has already built a solar roof in China and is now looking to build a worldwide one.

The solar roof is made of photovoltaic panels that produce power to the roof by converting sunlight into electricity.

That means that when the sun is shining, the solar panels create heat.
